    PE: Polyethylene Sheet

    Specific Gravity: National Standard 0.91~0.97

    Color: Black, White, Custom Colors

PE sheet is a highly crystalline, non-polar thermoplastic resin.

High Temperature Resistance: Below 90℃; Usage Range: -60℃~60℃

    Melting Point:

110℃~140℃; Flammable, exhibits a yellow upper flame and blue lower flame, continues to burn after being removed from an open flame, shows melting and dripping, and has a paraffin-like odor.

    Disadvantages: Poor heat aging resistance

1.Poor Thermal Stability (Poor Heat Aging Resistance): PE sheets are prone to deformation and aging in high-temperature environments, limiting their use in high-temperature applications. When the ambient temperature rises, the mechanical properties and dimensional stability of PE sheets may significantly decrease, affecting their service life and performance.

    2. Sensitive to UV Radiation: Prolonged exposure to UV radiation may cause PE sheets to degrade, leading to performance degradation.

    3. Insufficient wear resistance: PE sheets cannot be used in applications with frequent friction.

    4. Poor flame retardancy:

    5. Unstable physical properties: Some domestically produced PE sheets may deform or shrink during prolonged use, and may also expand in high-temperature and high-humidity environments.

    6. Relatively low mechanical strength: Compared to other types of engineering plastics or high-quality imported PE products, domestically produced PE sheets may lag behind in tensile strength and wear resistance.

    Advantages:

1.PE sheets are odorless, non-toxic, and have a waxy feel.

They possess excellent low-temperature resistance (minimum operating temperature can reach -70 to -100℃), good chemical stability, and resistance to most acids and alkalis (except oxidizing acids). They are insoluble in common solvents at room temperature, have low water absorption, excellent electrical insulation properties, low density, good toughness, good tensile strength, low water vapor permeability, good chemical stability, and are non-toxic and harmless.

        2. Applications:

Medical device components, seals, cutting plates, sliding profiles. Widely used in chemical, machinery, power, clothing, packaging, and food industries. It is also widely used in water supply, sewage treatment, agricultural irrigation, fine particulate solid conveying in mines, and in oil fields, chemical plants, and telecommunications, particularly in gas transmission.

        3. High Cleanliness:

PE polyethylene sheets have high cleanliness, making them suitable for fields with high hygiene requirements, such as food and pharmaceuticals.

        4. High Insulation:

PE polyethylene sheets have excellent insulation properties, making them suitable as insulation layers for wires and cables, and protective layers for electronic products.

        5. Waterproof and Moisture-proof:

PE polyethylene sheets have excellent waterproof and moisture-proof properties, making them suitable for manufacturing building materials such as wall panels and roofing materials.

        6. Corrosion Resistance:

PE polyethylene sheets have excellent corrosion resistance, making them suitable for various acidic and alkaline environments.

        7. Low Temperature Resistance:

PE polyethylene sheets maintain good performance at low temperatures, such as not becoming brittle or cracking at low temperatures.

        8. Lightweight:

PE polyethylene sheets are relatively lightweight, facilitating transportation and installation.

        9. Easy Processing:

PE polyethylene sheets can be processed through injection molding, blow molding, and other processes to create parts of various shapes and sizes.

        10. Environmental Protection:

PE polyethylene sheets are recyclable, reducing environmental pollution.

PE polyethylene sheets possess many unique properties, making them widely applicable in numerous fields.

          Applications:

          1. Building Materials:

Due to their waterproof, moisture-proof, and corrosion-resistant properties, PE polyethylene sheets are commonly used as wall panels and roofing materials.

            2. Packaging Materials:

PE polyethylene sheets have excellent waterproof, moisture-proof, and dustproof properties, making them widely used in the packaging of food, pharmaceuticals, and other products. Additionally, PE polyethylene sheets can be made into various shaped packaging boxes, providing better protection for products during transportation.

            3. Electrical Insulation Materials:

Due to their excellent electrical insulation properties, PE polyethylene sheets are widely used in the electronics and electrical industries. For example, they can be used as insulation layers for wires and cables, and protective layers for electronic products.

            4. Medical Devices:

Because of their non-toxic, odorless, and corrosion-resistant properties, PE polyethylene sheets are widely used in the manufacture of medical devices. For example, infusion bottles, syringes, and other medical supplies are made from PE polyethylene sheets.

            5. Agriculture:

PE polyethylene sheets also have wide applications in agriculture. For example, they can be made into agricultural films, providing insulation and moisture retention. PE polyethylene sheets can also be used to make agricultural implements, such as seeders and harvesters, making agricultural production more convenient.

            6. In other fields:

PE polyethylene sheets are also widely used in food machinery, chemicals, coal preparation plants, and other industries. For example, due to their wear-resistant and self-lubricating properties, they are mainly used in food machinery; their impact resistance and low thermal conductivity make them an ideal choice for the chemical industry; and their corrosion resistance and acid and alkali resistance make them suitable for coal preparation plants.
