    Polypropylene (PP) extruded sheets are plastic sheets made from PP resin with various functional additives through extrusion, calendering, cooling, and cutting processes.

    Specific Gravity: National Standard 0.92
    Color: White, Gray, Multicolored

    PP sheets are made from a highly crystalline, non-polar thermoplastic resin. The molecular charge distribution is uniform, with no significant positive or negative polarity difference.

    High Temperature Resistance: Heat distortion temperature around 110°C, long-term temperature resistance around 100°C.

    Melting Point: 165-170°C, flammable, with a yellow upper flame and blue lower flame; continues to burn after being removed from an open flame; exhibits molten dripping; has a petroleum odor.

    PP sheet Disadvantages:

    1. Low Dimensional Accuracy: Due to the material’s characteristics, achieving very high dimensional accuracy may be difficult during PP sheet processing.
    2. Poor Weather Resistance: When used outdoors, PP sheets are easily affected by natural factors such as ultraviolet radiation and temperature changes, leading to aging, brittleness, and deformation.
    3. Post-Shrinkage: Post-shrinkage may occur during PP sheet processing. This can cause changes in the dimensions of the finished product, affecting its accuracy and appearance.
    4. Prone to Aging
      As mentioned earlier, PP sheets are prone to aging under the influence of light, heat, and oxygen, leading to a decline in performance. To extend the lifespan of PP sheets, anti-aging measures can be taken, such as adding antioxidants and avoiding prolonged exposure to strong light and high temperatures.
    5. Poor Colorability
      PP sheets have relatively poor colorability, which may not meet the color requirements of certain specific applications.
    6. Flammable
      PP sheets are flammable materials with a low oxygen index, making them prone to causing fires.

    PP sheet Advantages:

    1. Impact Resistance
      PP material has very strong impact resistance and stable physical properties, allowing it to maintain good structure and performance when subjected to impact.
    2. Lightweight
      Compared to other materials, PP material is lightweight, making it easier to handle and install.
    3. Strong Shaping Ability
      PP sheets can be made into various objects to meet the needs of various applications.
    4. Good Heat Resistance
      PP sheets undergo high-temperature forging during manufacturing, giving them good heat resistance and allowing them to remain stable at high temperatures.
    5. Chemically Stable: PP material exhibits excellent chemical stability, showing minimal reaction with acids and alkalis, making it suitable for use in various environments.
    6. Lightweight and Tough: PP sheets have high crystallinity, excellent surface rigidity and scratch resistance, while remaining lightweight.
    7. Excellent Chemical Stability: Capable of withstanding the harsh environments of kitchens (oil, salt, soy sauce, vinegar) and laboratories (strong acids and alkalis).
    8. Temperature and Cold Resistance: With a high Vicat softening point, its heat resistance can be further improved by modifying its crystal structure, making it suitable even for microwave-safe containers.
    9. Excellent Electrical Insulation: As a non-polar polymer, it possesses excellent electrical insulation properties and extremely low water absorption, ensuring stable electrical insulation even in humid and hot environments.
    10. Easy to Process and Environmentally Friendly: Pure PP sheets have low density, making them easy to weld and process. They are also non-toxic and odorless, meeting environmental protection requirements. Applications: Acid and alkali resistant equipment, electroplating equipment, solar photovoltaic equipment, environmental protection equipment, wastewater and exhaust gas emission equipment, scrubbing towers, clean rooms, equipment in semiconductor plants and related industries. It is also the preferred material for manufacturing plastic water tanks. Thick PP sheets are widely used in stamping plates, press pads, etc.

    12. Recycling bins, including reusable recycling bins for various industries, fruit and vegetable packaging boxes, clothing storage boxes, stationery boxes;
    13. Industrial panels, including protective packaging for wires and cables, glass, steel plates, and various other items, pads, shelves, partitions, base plates, etc.;
    14. Manufacturing protective panels to ensure the integrity of the interior design before completion and use, providing appropriate protection. Also used for pre-acceptance protection of building elevators and floors.
    15. Electronics industry protection. Conductive packaging products are mainly used in the packaging of IC wafers, IC packaging, testing, TFT-LCD, optoelectronic and other electronic components. The purpose is to prevent contact with other charged items, which could cause spark damage to the components due to electrical friction. There are also conductive and antistatic plastic sheets, turnover boxes, etc. PP sheets are also used in washing machine back panels, refrigerator insulation layers, and packaging for frozen foods, medicines, and beverages.
